Chess Challenge - Students learn to play the game of chess and fine tune their skills as they challenge team mates in chess matches..
Urban Artisty- Classes build self-esteem and discipline through various dance styles and movement.
WAVE- helps newcomer middle students become part of their school and neighborhood community by forming relationships with their peers; buliding self-esteem, leadership and communication skills.
DC SCORES - Through soccer, creative writing and service-learning, students learn teamwork, problem-solving, leadership and communication skills.
GFI Studios- youth learn personal devolpment and self esteem through modeling.
Martha's Table - youth become experts at a vaierty of crafts such as drumming, graphic design, digital photography. poetry, and creative writing,
FLOC - Students receive academic assistance in math and reading using specific and intensive instruction. Students must be referred by CHEC administration to attend this program.
